It is hard to be like Jesus in the present with its distractions and brokenness, but this verse takes some of the pressure off. Keep your eyes on your Father, not the problems or needs. Live in God and (then) your love will grow more perfect and (then) you will live like Jesus.
1 John 4:17 – And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.
