Jesus Is The Lamp, We Are Lamp Ministries!

We’re glad you’re here! Our mission is to Praise God, Love one another, Equip the saints, and Reach the lost. We want to shine the light of Jesus into dark places, because the darkness cannot overcome it! (John 1:5)

Matthew 7:1
Matthew 7:1

Pastor Nate continues his context matters series with a discussion on Matthew 7:1.

Don’t Be A Hypocrite
Don’t Be A Hypocrite

Have you ever heard this comment, “You are not the judge”? Thank you Pastor Nate for clearing this one up for us! By putting this verse into Dispensational Context we learn this verse is “Not to be used to forbid all moral critique, it is about NOT being a hypocrite.” Matthew 7:1-2 Do not judge or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

End of Semester
End of Semester

Tonight is our last Tuesday evening meal and class for the semester. We take off during the holidays since they are such a busy time. We have a fun evening planned so don’t miss it. We will have salad and soup for dinner. See you at 6pm!

Scavenger Hunt
Scavenger Hunt

To close out our semester we had a photo scavenger hunt around the church grounds. Lots of fun, lots of smiles. And we finished with ice cream of course!

Holiday Break
Holiday Break

Our holiday break officially starts today. No classes or mid-week events until school starts back up in January. We will still have worship at 10:30am on Sundays. But a break doesn’t mean we don’t have fun stuff coming up in December to celebrate the holidays. Stay tuned for our December special events!

Citywide Celebration
Citywide Celebration

The November city wide celebration of God’s presence is tomorrow at 6:30 at Church of the Open Door. These services have been really great!
