Brother Clint shared a message with us yesterday about wearing symbols or labels. We all do it; some of us like shirts with sayings, or have tattoos, or wear jewelry items that mean something to us. Once you have accepted Jesus, you also wear a symbol in the spiritual realm, the seal of the Holy Spirit. Clint mentioned how this seal can make you a target to the enemy and that is true. Why would he bother with you before you decided to take a side? In the same way the seal makes us a target, it also gives us a shield. God grants us protection from most direct attacks.
But a more important benefit of having the seal of the spirit is that it is also a badge.
It shows who you belong to.
It gives you authority.
It grants you access to spiritual places.
It allows you to use the spiritual gifts with ease.
So wear your badge with honor. You have been sealed for a purpose!
