Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Pastor Nate gave us a teaching on the historical and situational context of Jeremiah yesterday and he put Jeremiah 29:11 in its correct context: God is willing to wait patiently and walk with us through our journey of detours and disciplines till we come to understand His instuctions are wholesome and His desires for us are good.
