Joy and Anticipation

For four hundred years the Jews found themselves caught up in the throes of this life, in darkness, without God speaking. They had only the old prophetic promises of God to cling to in hope that the Messiah would someday come. Then early one morning, the Hope of the World came to earth and Jesus was born.

Today, as we find ourselves caught in the tension of the “Now and Not Yet” we eagerly anticipate the Christmas Celebration of Christ’s first coming. Pastor Nate challenged us to look with as much, if not more, excitement and joy for the Second Coming of Jesus.

For joy comes in The morning!
