Howdy, we are the Moehrings. Our desire is to see the love of God change lives in central Texas.
Nate and Rebecca were both born and raised in small-town Texas, met at Texas A&M University, and married in 2003. We moved to Phoenix for engineering careers and had Hannah and Benjamin. We relocated to Los Angeles to join SpaceX and had Joel. In 2015, we jumped at the opportunity to move back to Texas, much to our relief. Now in 2020 we’re adopting Ginny, and ready to take the next step in our service for the Lord.
We believe we have been saved by the grace of God (Eph 2:8) through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ (1 Pet 3:18). God has adopted us into his own family (Eph 1:5) so that we too can be a part of God’s plan to bless all families of the earth (Gen 12:2-3).
We are engineers by trade, but our hope is to transition into full-time ministry as the Lord makes a way. We homeschool our children so they can receive the very best Christian education, and they love it! We are Pentecostal because the gospel promises a supernatural life-style for believers who live by the Spirit, way more than just a ticket out of hell. And we choose to affiliate with the Assemblies of God because they provide a framework of doctrine, accountability, and a network of resources that we feel benefits both church leaders and members.
