As usual in August, our hearts and calendars shift toward the back-to-school season. Whether you’re a student, parent, teacher, or prayer warrior for those returning to classrooms, this is a perfect time to recommit to growth—both spiritually and communally.
Let’s keep our children and educators lifted in prayer as they prepare for a new school year. This season brings fresh opportunities to shine the light of Christ in hallways, homes, and hearts. May we send our young people out clothed in the armor of God and the confidence that they are never alone.
I’m also excited to share a new opportunity for our church to live out the compassion of Christ. We have an invitation to serve and encourage the residents of St. Joseph’s Care Center in McGregor. This is a beautiful chance to extend friendship, prayer, and hope to those who often feel forgotten.
