When guests are coming for the holidays, what kind of things do you do to prepare?
Clean sheets on the bed
Vacuum
Clean the bathroom
Plan a special meal
Guess what? Jesus is Coming! And he wants to live in your heart, forever! If you would do these simple things for friends or family to prepare for a short visit, what should you be doing to prepare for the coming of our Lord, the King of the Universe?
The Good News is Jesus came to save us from our messy lives, not to do a white glove inspection! But for those of us who have received him, is it not right to give him all the honor, respect, and glory that he deserves, within our power to do so?
In our business of the season preparing for Christmas, let’s put on display, for all to see, the marvelous things He has done in our lives, so others can come to know Him too.
