In his kickoff on the altars of prayer yesterday Pastor Nate challenged us all to spend a little more time with God this week.
We learned about our ‘personal’ altar. This is the place where we perform our devotions. It is where we place ourselves in submission as a sacrifice, ready and willing for God to use us (Rom 12;1). It is where we offer up our sins so they can be burned away (Lev 4:8-10). It is where heaven and earth meet and where we can impact eternity! What an amazing privilege and responsibility.
I hope you take up the challenge to spend some time at your personal altar. If you need some help with prayer models or ideas or someone to hold you accountable, please reach out. There are so many benefits to spending intentional time with God and you won’t be disappointed with the results.
