As we contemplate relaxing restrictions and entering a “new normal”, we wonder. Are there things we as a society need to change? Are there things as an individual or a family unit we need to change? Will we?
What is something you stopped doing that shouldn’t come back or what is something you started doing that should continue?
Here is a thought to ponder. It should give us hope as our rules of engagement change almost daily: Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Cheryl P One thing we could keep doing…..continue shopping with small business and farm fresh food.
Rebecca Nate M Handshakes are probably the most obvious thing that won’t come back. But not sure what we’ll replace them with. It would be ok with me if we just said “Nice to meet you.”
Hannah M Here at my grandparents house, I’ve been more aware and careful with what I’m doing or messing with. At home, I would normally play fight with my brothers inside the house and on the couches and stuff, but here I am a lot more careful when I’m inside. I know that I should do that at home too. Also, we have been spending more time outside, being active and (trying to be ;)) helpful. That should continue at home, too. Not only have we been helpful outside, we have tried to be helpful inside the house, as well. We’ve been doing the dishes a lot more than at home, and we’ve helped with wiping the table, vacuuming, and things like that. We have lately spent our quiet time outside or actually being quiet when we are inside during Grandpa’s nap time. This has been hard, but it is something that should continue at home.
