Pastor’s Blog

Congratulations, you survived the winter storm!  Personally, I really enjoyed the brief sabbatical at home with my family.  I did experience a little bit of cabin fever, but sometimes we all need to slow down and appreciate the things God has given us: family, time, a roof, a heater, and a pantry of food.  We are His blessed children.

At the same time, I have been missing my church family.  Basketball season is soon coming to a close for us, and I’m looking forward to being with you more, especially at Tuesday night Training Grounds dinner and discipleship classes.  Timothy has been doing a superb job doing a deep dive into one of my favorite books, the Gospel of Mark.  Also thank you to Megan and Pastor Joe teaching the youth class, and Bob and Clint teaching the kids class.  Fantastic team!

Also thank you to our Transportation Team, Janet, Timothy, Denise, Nathaniel and Rebecca, who have been helping people get to and from church!  Such a blessing to others.  Please let me know if you’re able to help give rides.

I am so thankful that we have a church family working together to be the Church, and that Rebecca and I don’t have to do it all.  I am very proud of our church working together to bring people to Jesus!
