Pivot!

from the pastor

In basketball, when the defender causes you to pick up your dribble and you can no longer continue in the same direction, you have to keep pivoting and keep your eyes up in order to look for an outlet pass so the team can keep making progress towards the goal.

Pivot!
That was the word for October; we had a number of unexpected schedule and resource challenges. But because we have been pivoting, keeping our eyes on God, and working as a team, we are getting through those challenges and even seeing God move in new opportunities.

I’m proud of our team! As we start this holiday season, I pray that you won’t let the enemy steal anything from you as your family gives thanks to God the Father. We’re here for you!

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, [PIVOT and] present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7

You are loved!
