Sometimes what we learn in the bible can be a little bit of a downer. Jesus had some pretty harsh words for the church at Sardis. But the promises seem to be even greater because of the discipline he was handing out. Don’t we all want to hear him to announce to God that we are his? Take a lesson from Revelation 3 and wake up! Don’t be lulled to complacency and spiritual death. Then you can claim the promises in verse 5.
