I can’t believe we’re almost into the Holiday season already! God is good all the time, but where is the time going!? Here are our big events for this month, get them on your calendar. 🙂
We’ve had some exciting things happening at church, keeping us busy in the ministry of the Good News! The switch from live worship to video worship has been well received. (Please keep praying for a worship leader!)
The wedding of Shawn Gray and Vanessa Lane was beautiful, and we are so happy to bless them as they begin their life together in Missouri in December. Please keep them in their prayers, and we pray that they might be able to return to us in a couple of years!
Our We Are Rooted youth group is going strong after our transition from Tuesday to Thursday nights, and we’ve had some youth guests on Sunday mornings. We are very excited for those who are going to the North Texas Winter Retreat before Thanksgiving, they’re going to have a great time in worship, prayer, and fellowship.
We had three VBS Day Camps for local children while McGregor schools had teacher work days, for a total of about 30 opportunities to preach the gospel, meet a need for local families, and give the kids a great time here within our church. One child said “wow, this church is crazy!”, which I think he meant as a complement. 🙂
I do want to make you aware that we have a need to replace the air conditioner unit in the Fellowship Hall. If you would like to help by giving a special offering to the Building Fund, we would really appreciate it! You can give quickly and easily with this link: https://lampministries.churchcenter.com/giving/to/building-fund
Please keep your church leadership in prayer as we plan for Christmas and 2027. If you haven’t yet found your place to serve in LAMP Ministries, come to talk to us!
In Christ,
Pastor Nate
