Sermon review: We are sent with power, sustained by grace, and secure in our victory.
The readings were: Psalm 66:1-9, Galatians 6:7-16, and Luke 10:1-20.
As I review the lesson from Sunday, what stands out to me is the law of sowing and reaping. Be like the farmer who prepared his field even when there was no rain on the horizon. Don’t wait until it starts raining to sow the good seeds – it will be too late and there will be no harvest. We must trust the one who told us to plant the seeds that he will send the rain in due time. Then the harvest will be plentiful! This law is true in the natural as well as in the spiritual. Let’s prepare the ground and sow good seeds this week.
