Embracing the prophetic call to honor God through worship and spiritual devotion.
The three main areas covered in our Praising God focus are worship, preaching / teaching, and spiritual life.
Worship: We have a number of volunteers who lead our worship services each week, who help make the tech do its wonders, and who keep our buildings looking nice and staying safe. We also have a prayer team trained and available during worship services and as needed during the week.
We have a mid-week praise and prayer time on Thursday evenings at 7. We call this time the Armory because after we have recovered and recharged, we want to suit up for the coming week.
Preaching / Teaching: Pastor Nate is our senior pastor but we have a number of other volunteers who help lead and teach in all areas of LAMP Ministries. Read our staff bios.
Spiritual Life: We take our relationship with God pretty seriously around here. We emphasize and teach on 9 spiritual disciplines: sabbath, solitude, prayer, community, scripture, fasting, generosity, service, and witness. (Initially learned from Practicing the Way). We expect our partners to have personal times of devotion on an almost daily basis, spend time learning more about our God, and growing in Christ.
