From the Pastor

After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. – Revelation 7:9

Dear LAMP family,

What a glorious vision of our eternity—worshiping our God together in heaven forever! Even now, it is our highest joy and privilege to worship Him with the saints and angels. We were designed and created to glorify Him and worship the King of Glory with our very lives. And though Christ has set us free from the old sacrificial system, it remains our duty and joy to bring Him a sacrifice of praise.

Hannah is absolutely loving Nelson University, and we are so happy for her.  In her absence, I have stepped in as the Interim Worship Leader. While I love worshiping, carrying the responsibilities of both Pastor and Worship Leader has put an unsustainable strain on my life.

Because of this, I am asking you—please, please, please—pray emphatically that the Lord will send us a new worship leader as soon as possible. We are asking God for someone who is a good communicator and team leader, comfortable selecting and leading songs vocally and instrumentally, and capable of leading worship and regular practices.

As we wait on His timing, join me in this prayer:

Lord, Abba, we trust in You. Whatever happens in this will happen at the right time, and it will be because You love us and know what is best for us. I ask that You give us patience, strength, and grace to persevere in worship until that time comes. I give You thanks and praise for it right now, Father. I can see and hear our sanctuary full of Your people—praising You with their lips, praising You with their hearts, and praising You with their lives. Let it be so (Amen).

In Christ’s grace,
Nate Moehring
