So we know our mission and we have a vision. We know what we are supposed to do and where we want to go. Now we get down to the hard part – how.
Remember our tagline? Get It – Grow It – Give It (It being love!)
This week we want to further explore how we, as a church, are going to focus our efforts and resources around these three concepts: How do we get love, how can we grow our own love, and how can we give love to others? And how can we do all of them things at the same time?
We believe that every individual should feel compelled to grow in their own personal relationships, but that we also need to work together as a church family in our community relationships. We have chosen to focus our efforts on three main activities, one for each area, until we grow big enough to add more.
– Get It! We will offer a mid-week worship/prayer/bible study experience.
– Grow It! We are wanting to grow people and grow our church through small group ministry. We are going to call our units real groups and we are so excited to see them launch: Real People, Real Life, Real God.
– Give It! Our primary outward focused event will be two park outreaches each month. We hope to meet people in the McGregor community, learn about needs, and attempt to meet them.
